Erdos’ Warmth – Woven into the boundless vitality of its emerald grasslands, embedded in the profound heritage of Mongol-Yuan culture. Inspired by this essence, we created ‘Nuannuan,’ our cashmere IP sheep.

SHE IS A SPRITE BORN OF THE WARM CITY,HER HORNS TRACING THE CONTOURS OF ERDOS’ MOUNTAINS AND RIVERS,​HER FLEECE BRUSHED WITH THE GENTLE HUES OF THE GRASSLANDS.

Visually, to avoid the monotony of pure white under natural light, the team innovatively employed high-end automotive paint technology, infusing the coating with iridescent pearl micro-particles. This allows the installation to emit a dreamy rainbow halo in sunlight, transforming it into a visual centerpiece. The horns feature metallic electroplating, while the face adopts a matte texture, creating a sophisticated contrast. For structural safety and durability—addressing Ordos’ sandstorms, thunderstorms, and extreme cold—the project engaged a professional structural design institute to conduct rigorous calculations. From the internal steel framework to the pre-embedded foundation, every detail ensures resilience against harsh weather. The sculpture’s surface is layered with multiple coats of baked paint and meticulously polished, forming an armor-like shield against wind erosion and rain, guaranteeing both artistry and longevity.
